Natalie Vaval is a Haitian-Salvadoran writer and journalist born and based in New York City. With an interest in a plethora of subjects, Natalie has (so far) written about entertainment, social justice, feminism, lifestyle, cultural analysis, and the intersectional narratives of marginalized communities — especially those of the Black and Latinx diaspora.
Attending The New School for her undergrad, she graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism + Design. Her writing has been featured in GEN Magazine, The New School’s student-led publication The Know, and at mitú where she was an editorial intern. Currently she is in her freelance era and is open to new writing opportunities.
When writing isn’t on her mind, you can probably find her sipping on a yummy beverage, wandering through bookstores despite having an extensive ‘TBR’ list, working towards perfecting her perfume collection, or cozying up to a good movie or show.
